Do something, damnit!

"Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them if we basely entail hereditary bondage on them." --Thomas Jefferson

Really feels like we are surrendering control of this nation to an authority we ourselves would be far better served in keeping jealousy in our own hands these days. I am convinced that our reflexive habit to do so is by careful design, and much to my horror, it's been working very well.

Far too many of us are complacent, ignorant, or just plain apathetic when it comes to our most primary, and sacred civic duty. We are stealing the legacy created by the Founding Fathers of a Representative Republic, (this is NOT a democracy folks, nor should it be) from our progeny. How can we look ourselves in the mirror?

We have happily given control over our national destiny and liberty to a ruling class that does NOT have our individual freedoms in mind, but rather their own power and reward. We continue to simply sit back and accept the agenda that robs us of the choices and ability to fulfill our sovereign right to the pursuit of happiness.

It may be true that despite all efforts to the contrary, you can not legislate morality... but obviously, you can damn sure legislate compliance with surrendering to immoral subjugation to an elite that would take away your right to dissent, much less choose any "non-approved" behavior.

So, sheep.. Get off your ass and speak up. Loudly, and directly into the faces of those that would silence you. Hell, you don't even have to agree with me; Shout at me that I am wrong... but for your kids' sake, don't just sit there and quietly hope for a nice comfy blanket as you are led off into that not so good night.

I'm not the only one.
